What Renters Like and Dislike

What Renters Like and Dislike About Highland

Somewhat affordable, close to stores and medical access. My family is nearby have very friendly neighbors. Prompt emergency response.

Very close to the highway, close to grocery stores and my job. I do wish there were more local small businesses but there's plenty of restaurants and fast food.

It's an older well established neighborhood. People are not transient. Most have been here a long time. Everyone is friendly and there are great families.

The houses are old and well built and there are a lot of old trees for shade. It is a historical district which has positives and negatives.

Familiar family restaurants. I grew up here and it is an area that I am used to even though it's a bad area. I have a lot of family in the area.

There are a lot of trees so the air is quite good for my health. There is a lot of natural places (forest , lake) . There local business are not walkable but it is not far by car. I like going downtown or in the main university campus . I also like lace lunch at the lake
