What Renters Like and Dislike

What Renters Like and Dislike About Fremont Seattle

I like that the neighborhood is friendly. The neighbors always greet each other in passing, and the neighbors directly to my left are very helpful and kind. I also like that the neighborhood is quiet, and I have not heard or seen of any crime. This is a good space to raise my child.

It is very walkable and there are great restaurants nearby. I have a great view. I really like the restaurant The Whale Wins as well as Fiasco and Pablo y Pablo.

The neighborhood has quieted down after thirteen years, since i moved into the neighborhood. The summer months used to be crowded on one block, with noise from car radio's playing till five in the morning, and has stopped.

McDonald's sometimes , I be chillin I be going to popeyes they frys bust but yea ohh and Burger King too they burger fire too

I live near an awesome park called Greenlake where all of the community congregates. We have multiple weekly farmers markets near by. Very walkable community close to shops and with easy transport links to city center.

Nothing. Everything is perfect. This area needs no improvements the neighborhood is lit. This neighborhood is safe.

All About

Living in Seattle, WA

Fremont is a desirable and eclectic neighborhood about five miles north of downtown Seattle. It is situated just north of the Lake Washington Ship Canal and the Queen Anne neighborhood. Another popular neighborhood, Wallingford, is situated directly to the east of Fremont.

Fremont Landmarks

You'll enjoy living in this neighborhood as it is known for its landmarks. The Fremont Troll is a sculpture that resides underneath the George Washington Memorial Bridge. It has a real Volkswagen Beetle in its clutches. Waiting for the Interurban is a sculpture that is located just north of the historic Fremont Bridge. It portrays six people and a dog waiting for the electric railway that was popular in the early 1900s. About 250 feet away is a related sculpture, Late for the Interurban. It portrays somebody running desperately toward the train.

Fremont Fair

Apartments in Seattle's Freemont area are conveniently located near the immensely popular Fremont Fair that takes place during or near the summer solstice. The fair is perhaps best known for the Fremont Solstice Parade. Tens of thousands of spectators enjoy this fun event on an annual basis. The parade is different from most in that no advertisements, printed words or motor vehicles are allowed on the parade route. A popular pageant follows in nearby Gas Works Park.
