What Renters Like and Dislike

What Renters Like and Dislike About East Side San Antonio

Everyone has lived here since the 1970s so everyone knows each other. They are welcoming to new neighbors. There are parks not far. There is a convenience store in walking distance. The bus route is in walking distance.

The fact that there's places to buy groceries. There's a Dairy Queen across the street from me. The school's are very close to me. There's a bank near me. It's just a quiet place to live.

My neighbors are friendly and helpful to me. There's Panda Express, Bill Miller , McDonalds, etc around the corner Unfortunately, my family and friends would go to another location for food and entertainment, like Chopstick, Golden Wok, etc . But since the pandemic, we prefer to just visit our friends to hang out.

It is a historic area with interesting homes. There are restaurants, art galleries, and stores within walking distance. The riverwalk is only a block away and is a wonderful place to walk for exercise or into downtown to shop, eat, and drink.

I have lived here for 52 years. I now have a mayor that my children went to school with. Lots of good people live hear but of course there is always a few bad apples in every city.

My family and I like to go to the library, where we can spend the whole day and get a lot of knowledge
