What Renters Like and Dislike

What Renters Like and Dislike About Easton Columbus

The homes are from the 60's and all different floor plans. I love how close to downtown we are. I also love how far from down town we are! I love that we would never have to leave our little burb to live a happy life.

there are sidewalks everywhere. We have street lights. This is very close to a grocery store, CVS and a veterinary hospital. Easton town center with restaurants and movies is just 5 minutes away.

It's a quiet place at night. I wish I had more friends but the ones I do have is good nice sun rise.

Something unique about my neighborhood is that all the houses look the same and my favorite local restaurant nearby is in easton and i like going to easton with family and friends

It's quiet and we have a lot of space between our neighbors. Everyone minds there own business. It's not lousy.

Not many Midwest neighborhoods that are part of metropolitan areas consider themselves a tourist attraction in their own right. Such, however, is Easton in northeast Columbus, Ohio, and a thriving place to live, work and visit.

People who rent apartments in Easton may be able to fully explain why the Easton Town Center slogan is "Close to home. Far from ordinary," but one reason seems to be the area's accessibility to something valued by tourists and residents alike: shopping.

According to the Easton Town Center website, some 21 million people visit each year, at least partly for Easton's shopping experience. From Nordstrom and Macy's to Coach, Apple, Victoria's Secret and Crate and Barrel, Easton treats its visitors to a mind-boggling diversity of retail stores. It's an upscale outdoor pedestrian mall - and a boon for Easton apartment rentals.

But Easton Town Center is more than just shopping. With more than  3 million square feet of office space, it's also headquarters for companies like Lane Bryant, Chase Home Finance, Limited Brands and Safe Auto Insurance.

Parks and recreation in Columbus

Close to home, the Easton Department maintains its own site detailing facilities and activities. But when you broaden the area to include Greater Columbus, the choices are nearly unlimited. Parks are plentiful around Columbus, and the city takes special pride in four dog parks created for canine companions: Big Walnut, Wheeler, Godown and Three Creeks.

In the Easton area, Alum Crest Park offers a scenic, relaxing area with a basketball court, picnic tables, a playground and a walking loop around the parking lot. And for a fragrant afternoon of sightseeing, there's nothing lovelier than a floral park, including the award-winning Park of Roses Floral Garden featuring more than 350 types of roses. The Frank Fetch Memorial Park Floral Display in German Village and the Schiller Park Floral Garden, named for the German poet, Friedrich von Schiller, both honor their namesakes and the city's appreciation of beauty.

Education in the Columbus Area

Apartments for rent in Easton enjoy a wide range of private and community schools as well as special education and special student programs. Especially noteworthy in the area are learning institutions such as Ohio State University, the Performance Academy, Columbus Academy, Ohio Wesleyan and Columbus College of Art and Design.

Getting Around Easton

About 20 miles northeast of downtown Columbus, Easton has easy access to I-270, I-670, I-71 and Port Columbus International Airport. Both Easton Town Center and the airport are served by public transit, and ride share and bicycling are other good options for getting around.
