What Renters Like and Dislike

What Renters Like and Dislike About Midtown Atlanta

My neighborhood is very good peron and my favorite resturant is pizza hut and i like going to theatre

I really feel good with everything around me, my family is ok, my neighborhood and the security of alla. I will be ok

We have a lot of space for walking and it feels safe. There are always people around so you can chat with others.

I like the peace and quiet that exists in my neighborhood. It makes it easy for me to destress from the hustle and bustle of work-life. I like its beautiful scenery, cleanliness, and the sense of belonging that exists.

I like the proximity to downtown and the number of bars/restaurants/cafes that are walkable in midtown. I actually work downtown and can walk to my office if I'm not lazy. I'm a very short walk to the Oakland Cemetary, which is a state park, and a lot of the community walks in the park with their dogs. Also, the views of the downtown skyline are unbeatable!

Very convenient location for grocery shopping, going out to eat at a restaraunt, and nightlife activities for adults.

Getting to Know Midtown, GA

Midtown is Atlanta's arts and business hub. It offers a big-city experience with tree-lined streets and stunning architecture. Featuring some of Atlanta's tallest buildings, Midtown has much to offer its primarily young professional residents, who tend to opt for car-free living. They are just a quick walk or MARTA ride from the headquarters of Atlanta's largest companies. Residents of this vibrant, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood can catch a play or concert at the Fox Theatre, grab a bite to eat at The Varsity or take a stroll through the beautiful Piedmont Park, making Midtown a place to be on weekends.

For families or bachelors and bachelorettes who are looking to relocate to Atlanta, whether it's to attend school or seek out an employment opportunity, the Midtown neighborhood offers ideal living situations. Your new community affords you the hustle and bustle of city life as well as a suburban, laid-back environment that is a far cry from the congested city atmosphere. To the east of your new neighborhood is a patchwork of public parks like 17th Street Park, Winn Park and Yonah Park.

You and the little ones will love playing games of catch or taking evening strolls throughout the parks. Just a stone's throw north is a golf course where you and your neighbors can engage in some friendly competition as you take advantage of the pristine fairway. Right down the street from your Midtown apartment is the city center of Atlanta, which is inundated with an academic enthusiasm due to the myriad schools located nearby like Emory University and Georgia Tech (Go Jackets). If you are a sports enthusiast, many of Georgia's professional teams play nearby. Catch a Falcons game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium or head to the close-by Turner Field, which can be accessed via Interstate 85. If you want to cool down after a day of exercise, then take the kids over to Piedmont Park, where there's a crystalline pool just waiting to be jumped in. To work up a sweat beforehand, you can always play a match or two at the Sharon E. Lester Tennis Center. Getting around your community will be easy to do with the convenient public transit system. If you don't feel like hopping on the bus, the city is also ideal for biking - Atlanta has a slew of great bike shops. Looking for apartments in the Midtown area?
