Culbertson Library, which is situated right on Nebraska Avenue. Also in the area is the Hillwood Estate Museum and Garden, which is an exquisite Victorian mansion filled with exotic decor and and a vast collection of Russian Imperialist and French art. Surrounding the home is a horticultural paradise that includes a rose garden, green house and the "friendship walk," which is a flower-lined maze that takes visitors on a scenic tour of a fireworks display of plants.

If you work downtown or want to explore the rest of District of Columbia territory, from one of the apartments in Cleveland Park, you can go to Tenleytown Metro Station, which runs for affordable prices and at convenient times. Also running through the community are bustling freeways and highways that are ideal for road trips or business trips throughout the East Coast. Some of the main roads that residents will have ample access to include Interstate 395, the Whitehurst Freeway and Highway One. Of course, the slow-moving side streets that line Cleveland Park are ideal for bike rides.
