Historic Sandy is accessible by Interstate 15 and State Street, U.S. 89, which run through the western portions of the city and provide adequate and easy routes to the surrounding suburbs.The light rail known as Trax is operated by the Utah Transit Authority and provides easy access to cities such as Murray, Midvale and Salt Lake.
