Fairpark apartment rentals are located less than five minutes from downtown and also enjoy proximity to many recreational venues, with the Utah State Fairpark being the most noteworthy. The park boasts a variety of event and meeting buildings, outdoor spaces and amenities. The Fairpark grounds offer more than 300,000 square feet of open green space and can host up to 17,000 guests. The beautifully designed gazebo is a prominent landmark feature that makes it an ideal site for festivals and events. Of the many events worth attending, the annual Winter Faire, an eclectic event with evolving themes, is particularly impressive. Fairpark is often considered part of the larger Rose Park community, one of the most ethnically diverse neighborhoods in Salt Lake City. The diversity offers an interesting mix of "tiendas," local Latin grocers and other specialty goods vendors that give the neighborhood a distinct character. It also has two golf courses and its own local festivals that make the greater Fairpark area even more of an attractive place to live.
