Grant Park is an affluent neighborhood in inner Northeast Portland. The family-friendly community is filled with mature, tall trees and Craftsman, bungalows, English- and Tudor-style historic homes. It is highly walkable with access to the MAX and virtually any restaurant and shop by foot. However, the center of the community is a 20-acre park with the same name. It features a sports facility, a playground, an off-leash dog area and plenty of green space for picnics. For those seeking adventure, there are also hidden hillside stairwells behind 35th and Siskiyou that lead to the top of Alameda Ridge. Here, you’ll find stunning views of the city. Don’t forget to hit up Knott Street, between 33rd and 42nd, in the spring to discover a concentration of breathtaking flowers.
