This small intown neighborhood’s name comes from its picturesque view of the Georgia State Capitol building. It boasts early 20th-century, single-family homes with spacious yards. The area also has plenty of street parking. The BeltLine Westside Trail runs through the area, providing residents with ample outdoor space for walking, bicycling or running. The tight-knit community is known for having the only permanent disc golf course in Atlanta at Pekerson Park. The 50-acre park is the site of this neighborhood’s monthly potluck, annual kickball game and a splash pad the kids go crazy for. Its central location also makes it easy to get to Downtown, Midtown and the airport by bus, MARTA or car.
