What Renters Like and Dislike

What Renters Like and Dislike About Berkeley

I like the tree-lined streets. And the spectacular views. And the low crime rate. And the friendly people that live here.

I like that it is very family oriented. There is shopping close by. There is easy access to other parts of the city.

My neighborhood is close to family. There are many nice homes and streets to walk around. There are also many businesses, coffee shops, bakeries, bars and restaurants within walking distance.

My neighborhood is unique in that it is near a large park and dog park that are very nice to walk and sit in. I also enjoy a number of the local businesses, like nearby Gilman and Fieldwork Brewing for a nice beer, and Taqueria Monte Cristo for nearby good Mexican food. I like to go to Acme Bar with friends in the evenings to have a nice cocktail. I also really like that there are multiple bus lines, and a rail station, all very close to my apartment.

I enjoy going to the Berkeley Marina, the restaurants on University Ave, and the Ohlone Greenway trail. You can literally try food from any country on this block.

I like living in my current t neighborhood because everyone is very friendly. There are also stores in walking distance.
