RentPay is an automated online platform for tenants to pay rent through an electronic check, credit card or debit card. It automatically sends your rent payment to your landlord, even if your landlord doesn't use electronic payment methods.
As a tenant, you simply need to let the RentPay platform know when your rent is due, to whom it needs to be paid and how you want to pay it (via electronic check, credit card or debit card). It then transfers your rent payment into your landlord's account and informs you that it's been received.
If your landlord doesn't take electronic payments, you can still use RentPay and nothing will change on your end as a tenant. RentPay will print a physical check for you and mail it to your landlord.
RentPay can be set to automatically pay your rent each month, so you don't have to worry about forgetting to pay and getting a late fee tacked on.
RentPay is also beneficial to landlords because it allows for easy payment management, even if you have multiple tenants and properties. Rent will be deposited directly into your bank account. You'll be able to see payment history and you don't have to walk into a bank to deposit checks—you can manage payments anytime and from anywhere.
