Summer is here and the heat is unrelenting. You’ve braved your commute through the sweltering heat and dragged your sweaty self back to your apartment. Just the thought of getting behind a hot stove seems like a crazy idea. Additionally, your stove can rev up the heat in both your kitchen and your apartment, which nobody wants on a hot day. You’re thinking of just giving up and calling for another expensive delivery. How do you solve the dilemma?
Easy. You break out your slow cooker.
Slow cookers, or crock pots, are generally thought to be the perfect winter companion. However, they also come in handy during the summer where they give off very little heat, can be set when you leave in the morning and have dinner ready for you when you get home. Now that’s cooking with your head.
