Houzz is the mecca of all interior and exterior design inspiration.  Its database contains more than 5 million high-res home images tagged and organized according to style, room, and location so you can browse, search, and save your favorite inspirations to an ideabook. With the Houzz App you can also virtually try out furniture in your home before you buy it.  Browse the Houzz Shop and select ‘view in my room 3D’ and a 3D version of the product will pop up in a photo of your space.

With Curate. art collectors are breathing a collective sigh of relief. Now they can actually see how a piece of art will look in their homes before they purchase it.  Magic Plan — Free app for iOS

This handy app takes the leg work out of making floorplans. Just upload photos of your house and Magic Plan converts them into floor plans with accurate measurements. For an added fee, these plans can be exported in PDF, JPEG, DXF formats to share with contractors, designers, or realtors. This is also a great tool to use when shopping for furniture because all of your measurements are right there on your phone.
