The townhomes are nice and the management and maintenance teams are really nice and helpful.
Very difficult to get repairs done, it may take weeks. Many times maintenance may attend to the situation you requested for repair but the issue is not fixed. Also you have no idea when your unit will be entered for repairs requested nor are you notified if the repairs have been attended to. You may be told you will get something replaced, but it never happens. You can over hear conversations from your neighbors next to you, so there are times you may want to leave the room. Outside garbage and drive areas need much attention and has for some time. There are better places for the amount of rent you pay
You can hear everything your neighbors do, there is no sound proofing between the walls. Music, sex, bathroom activity, conversations, a nightmare for anyone who works 3rd shift or values privacy. Some neighbors do not pick up their dogs poop (think we don't see them) and others have dogs that never stop barking. The apartments are nice but super over priced even for the area. It is well maintained expect to hear and see and hear the grounds crew frequently. It is safe, except for a few questionable dogs. But nice that nobody helps themselves to your yard area stuff. Generally nice friendly people, and near great schools. The courtyard in the middle of each building amplifies all the sounds and conversations people make. It is really annoying when the grounds guys leave the LOUD ATV running for extended amounts of time.
At move in 2 years ago, I had problems with water leaking in my basement. Management told me that they had never heard about it, yet at the time, the next door neighbors (who used to live in this unit) said that was one of the reasons they moved out. I dealt with water for 9-10 months before the problem was fixed. Though this is no longer an issue, and I enjoy living here, how it was handled in the past does not allow me to rate the company as excellent. Love that large dogs are welcome!
Con: I have been a long-time resident here and the outside maintenance of our units is very slow. Wood trim should have been cleaned up and painted several years ago. Pro: There has been more attention to the grounds this year and updating to units as they become vacated. Staff has been very approachable and pleasant to deal with. The neighborhood is relatively safe.
