What Renters Like and Dislike About Platteville

we are on public transport line and another is very near. I like that we have a walking path and people using it are more often than not v friendly

My partner and I met and fell in love here, and also gave birth to the crystallization of our love, it is a wonderful place for me

I feel close to things I enjoy, including coffee shop, library, shopping area, etc. I can walk around and it feels like a quieter community, but it is still feels like I'm close to "city" life.

A neighborhood with mowed lawns, flowers, and freshly painted homes looks like it's cared for, and this alone can help deter crime. A well-kept yard also provides fewer places for suspicious persons to take cover. If there is a certain open lot or abandoned home that is an eyesore, work together as a neighborhood to clean up weeds, plant trees, and do a bit of fixing up on the exterior.

A lot of foreigners nearby. Target near house. A lot of students live around the area. Public transportation is ok.
