In 1917, Madison Waterworks at Nichols Station pumped 8 million gallons of water a day to feed a growing city. One hundred years later, its comprehensive renovation has pumped new energy and new meaning into luxury downtown Madison living.
The substantial $5 million rehab project centered on preserving the historic look of the building and the century old Water Pump the building was built around. While maintaining the character of the original Nichols Station, this rehab allowed improvements to make Nichols Station a more energy efficient, convenient, and modern place to live.
Nichols Station is located right downtown, at the corner of East Gorham and Franklin Streets. It is across the street from Lake Mendota and a few blocks away from the Capitol, allowing for some of the best views Madison has to offer. Perfectly tailored to fit every lifestyle, Nichols Station is an ideal home for the Madison enthusiast.
