Find another place! Wow are looks deceiving. This place is pricy considering it's dirty inside the apartment, the cupboards in the kitchen and bathrooms, no screens on windows so TONS of bugs fly and crawl in. Spiders, fleas, moths, carpet beetles, mosquitos, you name it.
Loud neighbors, unruly dogs, kids. Parking is horrible. Staff doesn't really take complaints seriously, either. Glad to have moved out.
Lived here for years and everything went downhill since they changed owners. Very unprofessional management, extremely slow response on our maintenance requests, piled up garbage and recycles, AND CONSTANT water shut offs. 5-6 times as of 2019 and they have "scheduled" four more in the future.
I moved in 5 months ago with my girlfriend from the midwest. We opted for a 2 bedroom ground floor unit. The check in process was smooth, the employees are very nice and understanding. After a few weeks i began to notice a few things about the apartment. The countertops are plywood with a spray paint-like paint texture with 1x4 pine beveled backsplashes painted the same color. Out of curiosity I used my circuit tester on all the outlets. 6 of the 20 or so in the unit are wired in reverse positive-negative are flipped. The front door handle mechanism had broken and through miscommunications with the front desk to the maintenance employees it took 5 days to get this problem fixed (the maintenance employee had to call me in order to understand the problem). The apartment size and quality is that of a $600-900/mo. In relation to what we were used to in the midwest. I am impressed with how clean the area within the complex is. Parking is fantastic compared to EVERY other apartment we looked at before deciding on West Ridge Park. The online payments are very easy to make and the front desk is great with monthly reminders via e mail. Outside of the complex, there are a few roudy guests of a nearby community that end up firing a gun about once a week at night and shoot fireworks about twice as often. The police have intervened maybe twice since we've moved in, even after calling in the complaint. In summary: location 7/10, convenience 8/10, quality 5/10, and comfort 8/10.
