We lived here from October 2016- May 2017. 8 months, and the front gate was broken for 7 months of it. We were repeatedly promised the gate would be fixed, and security was a "top priority", but the gate was still broken when we left. The cabinets doors fell off repeatedly, the dishwasher broke 3 times over 3 months, and maintenance requests seemed to get lost between the office staff and the maintenance workers.
The office staff was consistently unorganized, rude and more often than not, clueless. My rent check was lost by the staff and they didn't notice until I brought to them the fact my bank had not been charged. They tried to charge me a fee for the "unpaid" rent.
At one point, we received an email from the front office notifying us we had overpaid, therefore we had a $800 credit. When we tried to use this credit towards rent, the staff told us it was a bookkeeping error on their part and we did not have any credit. Again, they tried to charge us a fee for "unpaid rent".
I was yelled at multiple times by the manager for walking my dog through the parking lot, or having my dog with me while checking my mail.
To their credit, this is a nice looking (albeit shoddily built) complex with relatively low noise. The maintenance staff is friendly, timely (on the off chance the office gives them the request) and very helpful.
I recommend NOT living here. Despite the appeal at first glance, this place is much more hassle than it is worth, and the office staff is a horror to deal with.
