What Renters Like and Dislike About Lynnwood

I like that this neighborhood is quiet and not very busy. I love that 7 Eleven is nearby. I enjoy the park nearby as well, it is perfect for my son.

It's nice to be near so many stores and the transit center, while still being in a somewhat quiet cul-de-sac. I shop at Fred Meyers and live to go to all the thrift shops in the area.

I'm not sure our neighborhood is unique but it does have the police building nearby, only a block away from the local library, and there are plenty of great local places to eat.

Easy access to downtown! Growing community with light rail coming in! We have easy access to the mall and many grocery stores... the restaurants are within walking distance with many different varieties to choose from!

It's near grocery stores and has some nice fast food places just around the corner. There's a park just a few blocks down.

There is a park immediately adjacent to it, with good facilities (tennis court, baseball diamond, shelter, and trails through the woods). Just beyond the park is a small business park with restaurants and a convience store.

All About

Living in Lynnwood, WA

Lynndale Park offers people living in Lynnwood apartments to let off some steam and enjoy the great outdoors.

The community park occupies a total of more than 40 acres, and although approximately 22 acres have been maintained as forests, the park has many things to do. It includes a number of baseball fields - it's also home to the local Pacific Little League team - tennis and basketball courts, and a a series of trails.

The park's most recent addition, a skate park built in 1999, also serves as a big attraction for teenagers of Lynnwood apartment renters. After continued demand by local skaters, the cities of Lynnwood and Edmonds teamed up to help build the park, which has a number of banks and curves designed to challenge both novice and experienced skaters.

In addition to the traditional park offerings, people renting an apartment in Lynnwood can take advantage of many of the cultural offerings in the park throughout the year. During the summer, local theater companies put on a free series of Shakespeare in the Park productions. Tickets aren't required, but Seattle and Lynnwood apartment renters should bring a blanket or a chair, and show up early if they want to get a seat.

For the younger audience, the Lynnwood Parks and Recreation Department puts on a series of WonderStage shows every Wednesday throughout the summer for apartment renters and other local residents. Past performances have included a reptile exhibit, acrobats and jugglers. Held rain or shine, the shows are performed in the nearby elementary school gym in the case of bad weather.
