We should begin with the fact that this place utilizes keyless locks. Anyone can enter your home at any time with or without your permission. If you have a maintenance issue and ask for an appointment, it will not be honored. Someone could show up and enter your home without your knowledge or consent and then the office will create their own narritave and try to gaslight you. I needed bathroom drywall repair. I asked for an appointment because I do not work a 9-5 job. This place striped me of my dignity by entering my home while I was in the shower. I was in the shower when the repair crew arrived and entered my home without an appointment or consent. They suddenly decided it was an emergency and tried to make me believe it was lawful entry of my home. Nope. Then the anonymous person that answers the texts here threatened me. Nope. No one should need to beg for privacy in their own home. No one should worry that a maintenance crew will interrupt their shower. This place is scary. Between strangers invading your home unexpectedly, cars being stolen from the parking lot and the gaslighting about everything, this is not a good place to live. Privacy does not exist here. Dignity and respect do not exist here. If you value any of that, do not rent here. Other issues: the trash and recycling. Good grief. Constantly overflowing. It is disgusting. Ice and snow: they don't bother to put down ice melt on the stairs, sidewalks or parking lot. The parking space you are required to pay for in addition to your rent apparently does not matter to them. Hidden fees: on top of the monthly rent you are required to pay for a parking space, trash, water and sewer. If you have a pet that will be an extra deposit and a monthly pet rent fee. If they had a trash valet it would be fine, but there is only one receptacle and it could be very, very far away depending on where you live. Noise: paper thin walls and ceiling/floors. It is just so loud almost all the time.

I have just completely moved in my apartment on 01/16/16. However, I find the apartment well laid out and the light that enters the apartment is more than sufficient. It makes for less use of electrical lighting. I really appreciate having a gas fireplace. No more wood! Parking permits should be mandatory. And there should be a spot for visitors. So far I am liking it and will tell more as the year continues.
