This place is trash.
There is a roach infestation that they've been trying to deal with for months. They give you only a few days notice and usually spray during a work day, so if you have animals, you have to take them out for several hours to keep the spray from harming them.
We couldn't even keep food or dishes in the kitchen, killing about 8-15 every morning before going to work. Set out roach traps and sprayed, but they kept coming from other apartments.
CONSTANTLY shutting off the water to repair pipes. Water/dirt has backed up into our tub and toilet twice now. Water will often be shut off all day.
Water/trash bill is pooled, so expect about $120 each month for a 2 bedroom. There are only fees, no deposits and you best believe they will charge you cleaning/damage fees when your lease ends.
Their "renovated" apartments are terrible. Painted over ALL of the outlets and vents. Had to ask them to come in and replace the majority of the outlets because they didn't work. Painted over the door knobs and thick paint I've the door frames so it chips off when you open and close them. The carpet stapled directly to the floor with no pad underneath and staples sticking up, no thresholds between the doors, so the carpet frays (you bet they'll charge you for it upon move out).
GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. Do not call them, they will lie to you and then tell you "Well, we don't have it in writing so there is nothing we can do". We couldn't even move in the first day of our lease because their renovations weren't complete. Our leasing agent told me he would make a note of it so we wouldn't be charged that day. When I asked about it sometime later we were told that he no longer works there and that there was no note.
The same thing happened with the agent that did the walk through with us. We noted several things after the walk through as well as being told that we would be the first building to get a coded lock on our door, just to be told later that there was no note.
Don't be fooled by the pic of Seahurst. You move here you won't see that. You'll have a first class view of roaches, trash, and graffiti.
We love it here! Apartment is spacious, own washer and dryer, hardwood floor in dining nook. Old fashioned but repainted, beautiful carpet. People are friendly, lots of kids and families. Like your own little town---winding roads with 10 MPH speed. Safe to walk your dogs.
Don't Do It unless you're really desperate
