I was there for the previous owners. The mangement there was top notch. Listen and helped in anyway they could.
The apartments themselves offered variety of lay outs and the one bedroom I had on the top floor with a Juliet balcony....which is a hokey way of saying they put a glass slider in instead of a window in. Trust me...go with the window!.
Pretty sure they made these places with students in mind too. Hope the additional bldg.had others in mind too. Having said this I am moving back into the area and will visit it again to see if I want to call it home again.....even with the extreme rent increase.yikes!
Plan on paying more hidden fees than anywhere youve lived before. Parking spaces $95/per spot (youre lucky if you get a locked garage spot) $5 YES Utilities fee to PAY your utilities (charged monthly). $20 one time fee to just PICK UP your packages, PLUS $3/per day for EVERY DAY past the 3rd day of not picking up your package. (They literally forced us to sign up and pay for this service or we couldnt receive our package) $100 to reserve the club room for 3 hours. (Used to be free reservations if reserved a week in advance). ALL of these fees were put into place once Holland bought this property from Thrive.
The front office staff will never return your calls so make sure youre available on THEIR time only in person. After Christmas, you are responsible to figure out your own tree disposal plans. (Last building manager planned days that everyone could bring them down) Stephanie does a poor job to try making the residents welcome. If you have a noise complaint, be sure to keep it to yourself cause nothing will be done about it when you report it. The amount of money you will pay to live here is not worth the headache!!
Furthermore, the rebranding of this building since being bought by Holland Residential is tacky and cheap looking. Their attempt at a modern look was done with noticeably mix matched colors and pieces. The hallway carpets are the same and are stained most days (since it is a pet friendly community) which would be fine if they would clean the hallways more often. And after a year, dont be surprised when they raise your rent by $200+!!
Very expensive with unexpected fees (additional $35 per month for Sewer Cleaning fees above and beyond regular monthly sewer fees) and residents are FORCED to pay additional $100 a month for parking; no other options for parking. Elevator is shut down most weekends for move-ins/outs and you have to take the stairs. Narrow hallways and dogs can be scary when they bark in the hallways and in the elevators.

I live here 1 year, office need you pay for everything! I rate three parking spots and office did not record one of my car, once I am out of town and my roommate told me that there is a warning notice on my car, my roommate take the notice to home and take the photo of notice send it to me. Second day when I came home, my car was towed away on my own parking spot!!! I was so angry and office told I need to pick it up by my own and pay the fee until manger came back to work. I went to find manger on Monday and manger told me "We already post your car on our community website and write you a notice, it was your problem that your car towed because you did not pay attention on our notice." I was shocked by those arguments, I asked them"I park on my own spot! You guys did not record my car on the document and turn around blame me? Who have so much time to check community website every day!" Manger said that is not their fault. Second day, I find my lawyer ask about this. I find office again and manger notice I find lawyer and said they willing to pay half of the bill. This is a awful experience! Moreover, they can miss up on the package that I find my package for four day!! Office also check our room without any permission just told us that they are gonna come to check your house; however, my friend lived in same apartment did not receive notice that office gonna check home. Office try them best to earn money from each person. This is an awful living experience! Never came into this apartment!!
