    We have lived here for 25+ years, and we love our home and the atmosphere of the complex! The apartments are spacious and quiet. The current management of Suzy and maintenance of Nat are excellent! They are personable, friendly, professional and experts in their fields. We feel safe here, and there is a feeling of community. We love the layout of the apartment and each fourplex, and we knew the original owners who planned this complex and the care that was taken in building it. Much work is being done this year to renovate the grounds and structures. We highly recommend that you make this your home, too!

    I've lived here for two years and have had great experiences as a resident during this time, especially with the change in management and maintenance staff in the last several months. They've been super responsive to any requests I've made, and communication has been terrific. The location is very convenient, though there is road noise the closer your unit is to BEH. Grounds are kept up so nicely, too! I don't know what the previous review is referring to about the roofs and maintenance. Management clearly communicated about the roof inspections, including why they were happening, via email and paper flyers on each door, about a week ahead of time. Nobody entered my unit unannounced for this, and management communicated clearly to me about the need for the inspections (roof warranty expiring, and potential issues with squirrels making their way into the attics). I didn't experience any "cover up" or unprofessional behavior. The change in maintenance staff in the last several months has been a welcome one - previous requests took a while to fulfill (perhaps due to COVID restrictions sometimes?), but since the turnover, my requests have been addressed so quickly and timeline for anything that required ordering parts was communicated to me right there.

    Ive been a long-time renter. Being a renter fits my lifestyle: flexibility, and I can change my residence easily based on whats going on in my life. Ive lived at Parklane Townhomes for the last 13 years. Its been a great place to live. What Parklane is not: Not a lot of amenities. No pool, clubhouse, exercise room, media room, 24-hour yoga instructor, concierge, or playground. There is a basketball court, where Ive seen residents play basketball, and cricket. Ive learned a bit about cricket watching them. There are kids here, and like kids are, they find each other and become friends and play outside. Sometimes they get a little boisterous. Not every day, and not for very long. If kids upset you, you might consider living somewhere else. Or remember when you were a kid. What Parklane is: Very spacious apartments. The rent is very reasonable based on the size of the apartments. Washers and dryers in each unit. Grounds are very well maintained and very attractive. This is a community for adults who want a quiet, safe, clean place to live. Best part of Parklane is the staff. The onsite manager is very responsive - all of my calls and questions are responded to the same day. The maintenance tech is friendly, responsive and above all he know how to fix things. In my 13 years here, the dishwasher, garbage disposal and washer and dryer stopped working. One phone call, and all were fixed or replaced within a couple of days. I can recommend Parklane Townhomes as a great place to live, short term or long term.

    We have been here over 10 years and have enjoyed living here. Management and staff are friendly and do a great job of communicating when I have questions requests.

    We moved her about a year ago. It is a wonderful place to live. Very kid friendly. I absolutely love my neighbors, we got very lucky! We have made some lifetime friends here. Suzy the manager is amazing and so friendly. Nat the maintenance manger is great! I will renew and stay here longer. I feel safe and I know my daughter is safe too. Great place to live. Lots of yard to play in for the kids and us adults. Wonderful community!

    The new staff here don't have a clue about who their tenants are, how the units look like, or how to run a property. They have belittled me and my husband. Another neighbor had their water heater explode and their two year old had respiratory issues because of a mold problem they had in their unit. The buildings are run down and neighbors have had small animals living in their roofs and attics. The manager and maintenance don't tell you anything either; they'll notice a problem but try to nip it in the bud so no one finds out. We had someone come into our unit to look at our attic (we weren't even aware someone was coming btw, they failed to notify us beforehand) and that person was more open with what was happening despite management trying to cover it up. He told us that they called him because of possible rodents in the attic (no one mentioned this to us) and told us how management is "trying to catch up" on all the problems at this place. Don't believe the pictures either. Not all units are updated yet we all pay the same amount. We've asked for replacements on our dishwasher and updates to our unit and got absolutely no response. Been here 3 years and our dishwasher has never worked since day 1. Luxury townhomes? LOL I think not. Please don't be fooled.
