The people I have met as my neighbors, service men, and office staff have been nothing but friendly, helpful, and on point with me. I've only been a resident of parkway for a few weeks now, but I would recommend this place to friends and family due to the feeling of belonging I myself have felt since moving here.
In two years i have lived here, i can say this is really good apartment. The staff, manager, and maintenance officer really do the best for tenants. They respond to us quick and solve the problem that we might have. Ive never had any trouble to find parking space. Never had any serious utilities problem. So overall its good to choose parkway for living. Thank you parkway..
Great location for bus rider and close to Newport news and York can't wait to start our new life here. If you don't think you can get in try it you'll be surprised
This is nice place to live. Lots of nature. Very quiet. Extremely safe. HUGE apartments. Maintenance staff is above par. Expect office staff to be less than responsive.
New management sucks. I lived here for over 11 years. Was told when I moved out there would be no charges and I didn't need to have the apartment professionally cleaned or have the carpet steamed. I did both anyway.
1. They lost my forwarding address
2. I was present for the moveout inspection - no charges listed. I highly suggest you be present for your moveout inspection as well. And take lots of pictures. I did.
3. On 7/9 (10 days after I moved out) I got a bill for $1300. Charges for resurfacing kitchen counters and replacing carpet that was 13+ years old - it wasn't new when I moved in)
4. I emailed on 7/9 asking for a call to discuss the charges, and called on 7/11. It is now 7/26 and no response. Rather than call or email in response to my disputing the charges, they turned it over to their collections department.
So, today I emailed the regional manager. Hopefully he will be able to resolve the issue
Very nice and welcoming. Shared plenty of information.
