It's a very quiet area and everything is within walking distance.
Recently moved out and it was such a smooth and easy process. Couldnt be more thankful for the office and maintenance staff for all of their help throughout my stay at the complex.
The type of apartment (1BR) advertised as available was not.
The overall community is a friendly and safe place to live. The grounds and sidewalks need some attention, but overall it is a good and clean place to live.
Where to begin? The apartments are aging poorly with hastily covered and hardly repaired cracks in the walls. Stains that have been painted over frequently reappear in the ceilings. The carpets get replaced but i suspect the padding is often reused as large stains appear in areas where spills have not occured. The lawn "maintenance" company is little more than a mowing crew that does nothing for the swaths of dead grass and dirt that litter the grounds. The back of my building is a dirt lot that becomes a mud pit whenever it rains. The giant trees are seldom pruned and drop large branches on the roof causing damage that results in leaky ceilings that took the property management literally 5 months to properly repair. They have installed giant, stadium lights that are rudely and carelessly pointed into the windows of the buildings making it impossible to enjoy open windows in the evening without having to be blinded by what amounts to the light of a small sun beaming directly in to our apartments. There's little to no security on the premises as packages and bikes are often stolen from front door steps and first floor patios. The pool closes for an entire day every week during the summer months for no other purpose than to save the owners a little cash by not having to pay a lifeguard 7 days a week. I worked for a pool company and the lame excuse of "we close for cleaning" is just that, lame. I have personally cleaned and maintained no less than 4 pools a day with no problem. Basically, the people in charge do as comically little as possible to keep the place running at the expense of the residents. The office closes frequently and without warning and are absolutely miserable at answering or returning calls. I can not recommend that anyone choose to live here unless it's the cheapest option for you (which, by far, it isn't). The only positive i can honestly leave you with is that the office staff, when reachable, are kind and pleasant... that's about it.
