The apartment was somewhat nice, a little out dated. The front office staff is awful. Every time they sent an email out to everyone in the complex they included everyone's first and last name with their email address attached. Brought to their attention twice never resolved. Was harrassed by another tenant, they did nothing but make excuses for this person. Several other tenants came forward, still no resolve. When I moved out they prorated my water bill for two more months even tho I paid on time every month. There was also a reoccurring roach problem. Do not recommend renting from here.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Bayville Apartments previously known as Waypoint at Bayville is a joke! Save your time and hard earned money and run away. They show you a beautiful model apartment and on move day you find an outdated and rundown maintenance nightmare that looks like something the 70s left behind. The kitchen alone had numerous safety and health violations. From the electrical panel being within 2 feet of the sink and not having an operating latch to close and secure it, to an electrical socket being jerry rigged to fit above the backsplash, they crudely cut the cover plate to make it "work". Water damage along most of the baseboards, including in the master bedroom. Roaches EVERYWHERE. Majority of interior doors not shutting and locking. The biggest complaint was the ceiling. It sounded like the upstairs tenants were going to come through at any moment. I contacted the office numerous times and it took 6 months to have anyone come and just take a look at the issue. I have sent so many emails and made so many calls to the front office only be ignored 90 percent of the time. THEY DO NOT CARE. I have numerous emails from the staff telling me I'm valued but they will not work to fix any of your issues this I promise you. My phones storage had reached capacity from all the photos and video documentation I have taken of these countless issues. I even hand delivered a thumb drive with all the documentation to the office and they say they reviewed it but highly doubtful as nothing ever came of it. Do not make the same mistake I did and assume all would get better after move day. Right before I moved out they posted a notice on everyone's door stating monthly rent was increasing by about 200 dollars. It wasn't worth it at 995 and it definitely isn't worth 1200!!!
