Do not live here. It may be a nice place with nice apartments, but the leasing office only wants you for money. When we signed the lease, the apartment had promised us that they would reduce our rent each month throughout our lease. They then deducted all of that money during that first month, and pushed us to potentially pay more than promised every month. After being told that it was "okay" to back out of the lease, the collector from the apartment called us on the day the first month's rent was due, forcing us to pay both first month's rent for both this disgusting company and our new, more sophisticated, complex. I repeat, do not live here. They are not there to help you in any way.

Fire Alarms go off all the time in the middle of the night. Floors and stairwells are always flooding. Homeless people go through the trash. Amenities are always broken. BEWARE.

- 1st month of moving in my apartment was flooded from above. Management instead of air dry leak btw walls just sealed it. The mold growing inside. - garage gates dont work. - people smoking inside building - grills were half time out of order - AC had no filters inside, dirt blowing in apt - their maintenance man - grabbed my side body and breast, on his way out of elevator, as i and another resident were to get in. I reported the man grabbing- management response was: oh, he just afraid of dogs. Really? Because he is afraid of dogs, while working in dog friendly building, he had to grab my body? BEWARE of Avalon move-out scam. When moved out, last day i asked manager Kelley to check If all clean. She looked said to us- everything is fine, and clean. Now month later they charge $548 for carpet replacement because they email 3 pictures of someone dirty carpet. When we left last hour, per leasing office person Kelley- Carpet was clean. Management company said i needed to take Kelley written statement, and her verbal statement in front of me and my friend is not count. The emailed 3 pictures of carpet dirt, i do not recall belong to my apartment. I am requesting them to proof of pictures are belong to my former apartment. Additionally they charging $48 for dogs discount- which shall be actually taken off their inflated bill. They also stated i need pay within 15 days the bill otherwise it will be sent to collections agency. I was asking avalon for 30 days since my move out where is my final bill and or deposit refund? They waited 30 days to give final bill and now they want pay within 15 days or they send to collection agency. Do not rent from them. They do okay while living there, Ig nothing brakes, but beware when move out. -There false fire alarm every week, no avail parking for longer then 4 hours, there was no lights on street, and gym equipment literally stop working as you run on treadmill, causing person to fall and injure him/her
