I have been here for about two years. Office staff is nice, grounds are done professionally every week, a nice big swimming hole, rent is affordable, quiet area, and regular cleaning of hallway.
Sure parking is a little rough, but compared to next door apts it is nothing. The manager also takes care of bad apples when they mess up.
So ignore many of the past reviews from two years ago, different manager.
I've been a resident for almost 2 years and when we first moved in, everything was great, albeit roach infested. But hey,what's a few roaches? At least rent is cheap! Two years later-still roach infested, but now the roaches have called their cousins, and their cousin's cousin's and they've all taken over the apartments. No amount of Combat bait, roach bombs, spray or powder will kill them. Then there's the fact that they're slow to repair any damage in your unit (not of your doing and about a 3 month wait), the washers and dryers are out of order about 75% of the time (and take about 2 months to be repaired and no, you will not get your money back if the washer or dryer takes your money but decides to break on you. Your only option is to wait for the maintenance guy so you can use his card to pay for the amount you lost. Now on to the best park! Parking has become a priced commodity.
That means that if you want to park your car for free, you need to be home before 8 or you won't find any empty spaces. It means that residents have to park in visitor spots because all the regular spots have been taken. It means risking your car being towed because you either park in a spot that is iffy or you have to park on the street. BUT if you are willing to PAY for a reserved parking spot, you're in luck cuz they've just added (this month to be exact) quite a few more spots per building! So how was this achieved? They spray painted existing spots with "Reserved Parking" and called it a day! So now us occupants that dared to come home after 8pm will be driving around looking for a spot to park while all these empty "reserved" spots mock you as you circle the entire property over and over again. But as long as you're willing to shell out $30 per month you won't have to worry about parking ever again! And let me not forget to mention that this also comes with passive-aggressive attitude from office staff and inefficient maintenance staff that takes their sweet time.
No scorn towards the people in the leasing office, they were very hospitable but the moment my spouse and I pulled up to the complex we were very put off. The balloons in front for the leasing office looked like they had been there for years, sad, dirty, and deflated. The whole complex looked dirty. To say the least, the leasing office isnt accessible. These factors made us cancel our plans for a tour and move on somewhere else.
They had roaches. Appliances are poor. Overall dirty atmosphere
