I am relocating to Virginia and viewed Retreat at West Creek and I must say was very impressed. The property is beautiful with very high end features. The staff were all very friendly and professional. I most likely will be making them my new future home.

Rented a pricey apartment w/garage so I could continue my woodworking hobby. Clarified with management three times that it would not be an issue prior to signing a lease and moving in. Was told as long as it was during reasonable hours would not be a problem. 6 months later I was told I had to stop by Eric. Attempted to compromise but received more complaints. Saw the writing on the wall and decided to find a new place to live. Think they worked with us, since we were doing them a favor? Nope. Charged the full amount, threatened with eviction (despite the fact we already had a move out date), and were generally treated disrespectfully. Eric and his manager at corporate were unprofessional and rude. Calls were not returned, and basic maintenance like air filter changes were ignored.

If you don't have to interact with management, the location is okay, the buildings are cheaply built, and there is more construction starting. The maintenance staff is the only saving grace of this complex.

I have lived here for a little over a year and it still amazes me how much money I pay to hear every single footstep my upstairs neighbors take. You can literally hear everything. It looks so pretty until you move in and realize you will never be able to sleep in again. I even feel bad for noise complaints because its the poor construction of the buildings.... my neighbor can simply watch a movie and I have to listen to it right there with them yet Im an entire floor away. Its ridiculous this place cut costs and residents have to suffer. Also the way they calculate the water bill is robbery... your neighbor could leave the water running all day and youll pay Because its split between the entire building not the units. Although its split between number of residents its ridiculous.
