New resident and so far after some minor issues, thing seem just fine
The maintenance crew was extremely helpful with a few questions I had about how the heat and oven worked. The office crew is always friendly and again extremely helpful in every aspect. I couldn't ask for a better location and for the size vs. cost, I think it's a very good deal. Been here for a month and have no complaints. Comcast on the other hand has deep issues.
Roaches are bad , I have lost more than 3,000 to roaches infesting computers. People upstairs sound like elephants. People across hall there have been about 30 fights. about 2 weeks ago they started punching each other and left a baby laying on the sofa as she walked down the street yelling. Two days ago more yelling and throwing each other into wall . Nothing has been done. The parking lot is so dark you can not see . Dogs are not picked up after. I think I am the only person were I live that even paid a fee to have a dog. If you do move they will charge you for water sewer trash and god knows what else months after you leave. They tell you you are lying and can not understand why you become upset. They go through spurts of being great but it never lasts more than a day or two.
They don't keep maintenance up you call them they don't come. Once you move in here office personnel do a flip. Yes it's convenient for bus route shopping but the apartment are Raggedy you'll see once you move in.
I DID NOT LOOK AT THE REVIEWS AND I WASTED A YEAR LIVING HERE. DO NOT MOVE HERE. FIRST OF ALL, THERE ARE SO MANY EXTRA CHARGES, LIKE COMMUNITY FEE, ADMINISTRATIVE FEE, TRASH FEE, WATER BILL PER PERSON BECAUSE THEY DON'T USE HENRICO WATER, AND NEXT THING YOU KNOW, YOUR RENT GOES UP BY $100. MY RENT FOR A 2 BR, 1 BATH, 1 LEVEL APARTMENT WENT FROM $769 TO $864. THEY DON'T BREAK DOWN ALL THOSE CHARGES AND EXACTLY HOW MUCH YOUR RENT WILL BE, NOR DID THEY TELL ME THE WATER WILL BE CHARGED PER PERSON. THAT APARTMENT OR AREA WAS IN NO WAY WORTH THAT MUCH. THE AREA I WAS IN WAS THE STRAIGHT GHETTO AND ROACHES EVERYWHERE, NO MATTER WHAT YOU DID. AND WHEN I KNEW AFTER MY 1-YEAR LEASE WAS UP, I WAS LEAVING, I WAS OUT BEFORE THE 60 DAYS AND STILL GOT CHARGED FOR THE ENTIRE 60-DAY NOTICE, INCLUDING THE FIRST 9 DAYS OF THE NEXT MONTH! WORST DECISION EVER TO MOVE THERE!!
