I am very pleased with the apartment and location. I enjoy using the gym but didn't have a chance to use the pool this summer. The staff is excellent and always helpful. I do think the outside cleanliness needs to be stepped up. I did have problems this summer with insects and webs around my front door and it just not being too clean on the stairs and walkways. I did notify the office once and they cleaned up the webs immediately.

Staff is very approachable and capable. Maintenance is capable and responds in reasonable time. Grounds are beautiful. Like the design of my apartment and of the complex.

I moved into Meridian at Watermark back in March 2017. I signed a 13 month lease for a spacious 2 bd 2 bath apartment. I arrived in Richmond from Texas and wanted to live in a place that was both safe, secure, and had good amenities.

You can find that here. Is it true that there has been some struggle with staffing, residents breaking property rules, and management Yes! However, the new Property Manager Katie and her Assistant Manager Ashley are amazing. They are focused on bringing the apartment complex back to the prestige of Chesterfield County's Premier housing communities.

I had a list of on going issues left over by the past management. I discussed these with Katie and she has addressed all of them, making me and my family feel welcomed, special, and a valued resident.

Also, the new Maintenance Manager Shaun is on top of his game making sure every need is addressed timely and with a smile.

Besides the Staff both being stellar you can look forward to the luxurious amenities. 24hr Business Center, Fitness/Workout Gym, and a theatre room that can be reserved.

All in all if you are looking for a quality place to live with out, having to pay the prices of the Midlothian/Glenn Allen area this is your place. Welcome Home and Your are Welcome!!!!!

When we decided on Meridian Watermark we thought we had made the perfect choice. After a couple of months we were regretting our decision. This is a very noisy complex with cars coming through all times of the night playing very loud music. There are people on the balconies spewing obscenities constantly. To say I felt unsafe at night walking my dog is an understatement. The trash situation is ridiculous. You pay 10.00 a month to haul your trash to the one compacter in the complex. There are huge aggressive breeds of dogs throughout and while they do have ample doggy stations NOBODY picks up after their pets.
"Gated community" is a joke as the gates don't work 90% of the time.
The parking situation is beyond ridiculous. You have to park far away due to the overflow of vehicles.
The appliances in the apartment are low quality including very small refrigerators.
You pay a 300.00 deposit for your pet and 25.00 monthly for pet rent yet you get nothing in return. We were charged crazy fees upon move out including a large amount to replace a carpet that didn't need replacing.
We were more than prepared to pay the high rent and did (before the due date) but we did expect some "Luxury" in return and got anything but.
The only reason I didn't give one star is because of the locality, spacious bathrooms and the grounds are lovely (except for the constant overflowing trash compactor)
Be prepared to be disappointed when you move in if you are expecting luxury.
