Simply put, you get what you pay for here. I lived in a four bedroom and a 1 bedroom since moving here in 2017. Management changed since then and the office isnt very understanding of anything. Leave a cooler outside to dry over the weekend and you will be charged $35 on Monday. On top of that during the move out they try to put in extra charges and demand you pay them when even after looking at their ledgers, the extra charges for rent make no sense. And the bugs during summer are awful. Flys everywhere. You can spray and put up traps but youll still have maggots in the trash can and flys in the house and swarming outside on the porches. The office is very picky too on who they will tow. The will tow one car super quick but never tow others parked in front of hydrants or cars which never move. And if your neighbors throw parties which is a normal thing, you can hear every little thing and there will be no parking.
This will be fairly lengthy so I apologize in advance .
I lived in Merrimack Landing for a year and a half. The best way to sum it up is you get what you pay for. I was a resident here for a year and a half. I lived in a 1 bedroom duplex and a 2 bedroom townhome . The 1 bedroom is the perfect space for a single person, not 2 people . The 2 bedroom is ok. No closet space in the master bedroom, the bathroom is smaller . No coat closet. I was paying $65 a month for a storage unit because there was no space for half of my stuff . Ive had multiple packages taken from in front of my house so I suggest having them sent straight to the rental office .Summer time is when the bugs come, random insects all over the kitchen floor and living room, ants in the bathroom . Good thing is they have an exterminator that comes every Friday so you can call and ask them to spray your home. If youre in a townhome, prepare to get fans for every room especially during the summer. The air doesnt rise upstairs so its extremely hot . I had them come look at my vents multiple times .Parking it horrible. If youre not home before 6:30pm, good luck finding a parking spot in front of your apartment . No assigned parking, everyone just parks wherever . Walls are extremely thin, you hear every little thing from kids crying, tvs, sex, etc. ridiculous. Cars get broken into a lot over there. My friend had their whole sound system taken out of their car one night . I think that area is targeted due to being right next to the base .The staff is really nice and quick at fixing any problems .Id give the apartments a 2.5 stars out of 5. Its ok if youre looking for something quick , but I wouldnt suggest it long term. You get what you pay for .
