I am only giving one start because I can not give zero. There was a shooting in the courtyard of my building. There are bullet holes in the buildings on both sides of the courtyard and the downspouts in the breezeway where the shooting continued from inside the apartment to outdoors. There are bullet holes in the side of my building 30 feet away from where my 6 month pregnant fiance was sleeping. I wish I could post pictures to show you how close they are to where her head was. After all of this management refuses to let us move out even after offering to give them at full 60 days notice from the time we decide to leave. They obviously care more about money than their tenants safety or comfort.

Do not move here. I put a deposit down for 150.00$, waited for my approval for the appartment, when I got the approval they told me my deposit was an additional 500.00$ (wasn't mentioned before I left of a possibility to change) leasing agent named Kensie is rude and unconcerned about your issues. Mandy the leasing manager is aligned with her staff as she should be but she also should make sure things like this doesn't happen. Both Kensie nor Mandy stated anything about 72 hiurs or a written statement for a refund of my 150.00$. They need training in customer service. From my initial conversation to move in, 3 things change about the criteria to move in. I'm warning whoever to stay away from this place. I should have taken the signs when I witnessed so many people moving out the day I walked in. Communication was poor and little to none after they recieved my deposit. Again avoid this complex if you can.
This place was much better when this was managed by Abbitt Management. So I thought coming back here years later due to it being familiar territory would be an easy transition. The lies I told myself. The specials are decent considering they need to increase their occupancy but once they lure you in, its downhill from there. Anytime I call the office, the staff either rushes you off the phone or they sound completely annoyed; however, Mandy is very patient. There is a clear lack of communication between the office staff and maintenance when it comes to work orders. Nothing ever gets done properly and they even send maintenance unannounced based on an invalid work order that belongs to another unit. They dont do anything for the kids in the community and the playground is a joke. The infant swing is broken and should be replaced because you cant use it safely. They want to charge a base rent of 1000 for a townhome yet you get nothing in return but cheap renovations, a maintenance team thats walking blind and a rude office staff. The only plus side are my neighbors. If I could break my lease I would. Save yourself the headache. It isnt worth saving a few bucks.
