Crowne Village At Swift Creek

Lived for less than two month (10/29/2017 through 12/22/2017) after selling house & moving into a new home. The staff seemed nice at moving in. We had to pay over $2500 extra in early termination which was not an issue. While there, majority of our household was in storage & we ate out almost the entire time. We saw a few issues in kitchen & reported it & was told that those are documented. On the last day, we vacuumed the place & it looked as good as when we moved in. Walked to the office & asked the same lady whom we saw the first time to please do a final walk through with us. She mentioned that it was not necessary. However a few days later, we got a bill that was a few hundred dollars more. After calling, we were told that kitchen was left a mess & damages were observed & no matter what I said, she kept repeating that she is looking at the pictures & there is nothing further to discuss. I drove by & walked into the office in 15 minutes after talking to her & insisted to do a final walk through & wanted to see the pictures. She walked away to managers office in same building, closed the door and after 5 minutes came out saying that the manager removed the extra charges. I insisted that I still wanted to see the damages via a final walk through & wanted to see the pictures. Her response was that the pictures were misplaced in that 15 minutes time frame & she didnt have the time to do the final walk through. The reason, I am writing all of these is to have all of you protect yourself against this sort of situations. Make sure you take a picture before and after the move. Make sure that there is initial walk through & that everything is documented & it is your legal right to ask them to do a final walk through. If they refuse, ask them to write a note & sign. Do not trust them because they seem nice to start with.

Excellent place to live. Management and maintenance staff are awesome. We lived there for four years and enjoyed the experience, neighbors were friendly and grounds were always beautifully maintained. Crowne Village has easy access to 77 and shopping malls. The apartments are beautiful inside and comfortable. The garages are large and spacious. As a retired veteran, we moved often, but I have to say, Crowne Village was by far one the best communities we had ever lived in. Military friendly community, peaceful and quiet.

Out of all the communities I have lived in this is one of the most up kept. Maintenance is always on point and friendly. Management is kind, helpful and pleasant. To live here is to have a place to call home.
