Awful staff except for the maintenance and repair team which is fortunate because they are regularly needed for repairs in the old & rundown community. The comments about the extensive water charges are true, the excessive monthly bill isn't even based on usage. The staff will also not properly disclose the basis of the charge when asked. With the additional "amenities", water parking, and waste disposal fees that are assessed, it would cost about the same to live in one of the brand new locations in Tysons. All of the new reviews and rankings are based on coaxing from the sales office for positive reviews which I have witresses pwrsonally. The staff needs these reviews because they are rude, unknowledgabe, and unprofessional all the way to the property manager who never seems to be around. The property manager couldn't possibly be less professional or more rude than the assistant property manager. The head manager is only available via email as the management services are based in Tennessee I believe. Regular towing of paying residence is also common. 3 of my neighbors have been towed even though the community requires paid parking. * Live somewhere else! There are so many hidden costs and expenses living at Post Tysons Corner * NOT WORTH IT

of all, This property does not deserve a any star! I lived at Post properties for 9 years and Never had any issues but recently the property got bought by MAA management and in less a year I decided to move. When i was moving, they on the last day gave me a move out form and were asking me to sign on a paper that says I have to do professional carpet cleaning. When i asked them to show me my lease they pretended to look for it and finally said that the lease says that I have to return the sppartment the way i received it and thats Y I have to do a professional carpet cleaning and provide a certificate that I did it. When I asked them further questions all of the associates came by and started pressuring me that O have to agree to do the professional cleaning because the move out form ( which btw i received while i was there) states that. When I asked them logical questions all of them walked away - totally disrespectful! I have never seen people behave sooo unprofessionally in such type of set up. I have lived in sooo many apartments all over tysons and have never seen this type of crapy behavior. The previous management was soo professional and this management is a big ZERO compared to them!!! The manager itself was so rude. Also, the service while i was living there was terrible. Requistions were taking 5 days and more . ELEVATOR WAS OUT FOR MORE than TWO MONTHS! and if u ask them any questions, they will answer like as if they are doing ypu a favor. AC in the master bedoom sucks good luck during summer!! If u are picking this as ur home- Please be sure what u are running into. 1. Check the move out form first and 2. check the compulsory professional cleaning. 3. Check how many times their Lift was out in the last year ( total days) 4. Good luck with dealing with these guys. Even if they offer me this property for half price I will not take it!!! View Less

It's unfortunate that your perception of our community has deteriorated since our management change. Although there have naturally been adjustments to our policies and procedures, we remain committed to providing excellent service and clear communication. Were so sorry to hear that we fell short of that goal in your case, but please know we're working on improvements as we speak. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE MOVING TO THE POST!!! Unfortunately I failed to do so. They will offer you a great deal when signing to get you in but watch out for hidden fees such as a $200 ANNUAL fee which are not discussed/mentioned in the beginning and on top of that my access card hasnt worked and they still have not replaced it after reporting it 3 times to the office in the past 9 months. They will also raise the rent up to 10% the following year at renewal!! The water charges are ridiculously high considering Im only one person in a 1 bed room and hardly in town for it to be around $40 a month! Theyre unprofessional and can not keep the same employees for more than a few months at a time which explains a lot in itself. When trying to reach out to the MAA corporate they were no help, rude and unprofessional as well themselves, so unfortunately I had to report them to the better business bureau. Save yourself the headache

No maintenance, no response to the residents requests and complaints. No respect to tenants' rights. 5-star rents with 2-star services. I DO NOT recommend it at all.

I would never recommend this apartment. It is NOT equipped or ready upon move-in AND the administration, leasing office, and MAA corporation is AWFUL. They DO NOT CARE about you at all. Spend some more money anywhere else. I can't wait to terminate my lease.
