First look amazing and beautiful apartment but after living here worst nightmare ever. Lived in the first floor. I knew what I was getting myself into picking the apartment on the first floor but that isnt the worst part of living here. Maintenance is! Our bathroom vent went out the first week of living here ask if they can fix it nothing, called for the lights that went out from the kitchen nothing , called for door to be fix because bugs were coming in nothing, called for ants being all over the apartment told me to go buy spray to keep them away! Really ? I had new born at the time and I told them and no care in the world. They said they would go away. So, out my own pocket I had buy terro for the ants. The list goes on. Its not worth The money to live here .We had the three bedroom apartment.
Living on the first floor has been a nightmare. I hear everything from the apartment above and next to me. There are bugs on a daily basis in the walkways that end up at your door trying to get in. You would think after youve notified maintenance a few times that they would come and clean the breezeways weekly. I have to sweep the dead bugs away my doorfront every morning. Doors need painting. Exterior needs painting and cleaning. The only thing that is done regularly is mowing of the property. Its nasty and for what I pay...$1700.00 OMG..moving in 30 days cant wait to leave. The property manager is kind of weak.
Great place to live! Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. So many events and activities are offered to residents, such as happy hour, Easter egg hunts for the kids, Halloween party, movie night, wine and cheese nights, etc. Maintenance work gets done very promptly! The apartments are beautiful inside and all the appliances are top-notch. I love having a gas stove!
Only two issues for us - 1. The train. I highly recommend NOT living on the train side! It can be SO LOUD sometimes and will wake you up! Don't live on that side if you have young kids or are a light sleeper yourself.
2. The rent keeps going up. You would think they'd want to build a nice community, but people can't afford to stick around for very long. Keep that in mind - especially if you get a move-in special - next year you will be paying more!
We were actually able to negotiate the price of our lease renewal the first time, so it can be done, but I wish they would try harder to keep people around longer.
