Management seems committed to the upkeep and safety of the complex. The grounds are always well taken care of including the amenities such as the pool, tennis courts, and fitness center. The lighting is very good, and I always feel safe walking around at night. Whenever I have questions, the front office staff are available to answer them, and they even ask me about my dog (and they all remember his name)!
The availability of maintenance staff for both emergency and nonemergency needs is second to none. This is true even on weekends. Maintenance staff is always careful to follow up when they note they will. The care by the office staff did not end once the contract was signed. They are wonderful about making all residents feel welcome throughout the term of the lease.
My overall experience has been pretty good. The renovations to the apartments and the gym are looking very impressive. One area that needs work is online payment system though, receiving papers that say that eviction might happen is really scary for those experiencing the technical problems.
I have lived in apartments that had no amenities and maintenance was horrible. Walden has neither.
Tennis court needs maintenance. Also lease breaking should be more friendlier to residents. community hall should be free for residents for atleast one event in a year
