This apartment community and management were horrible from day move-in to move-out. The welcome email from the community gave us the option to sign up for NPS. NPS is an intermediary that sends automated rent payments to the property. Prior to moving, the data provided to NPS from the property was incorrect. We flagged this with the NPS and the property prior to checking in to ensure the issue was rectified. Upon moving in, the issue was not rectified and was not rectified for over a month. We received a Default and Termination notice (in error) because the property was not accepting the automated payments because they failed to rectify the inaccurate data prior to our lease start date. And as if all of this were not enough to turn you away. Remember those neighbors with poor credit and no respect for their own homes. Well, turns out that if you dont clean up after your dog you are unlikely to keep a clean home. We enjoyed the visitors of mice and roaches for over 2 months, submitting service tickets regularly to have them send an exterminator. The maintenance team would review the pest control request and close the ticket without (1) communicating with myself or my partner or (2) ever sending pest control to our apartment. Once we withheld rent, they finally sent pest control.

Great place to call home. The ladies in the office and maintenance staff I have encountered are very friendly. Im so excited to have my apartment renovated. I would like to see more garages added if possible but overall Ive enjoyed living here.

Their maintenance team is awful. Almost every issue I had they either forgot and I had to go to the office multiple times to get someone to come out or just told me the problem couldn't be fixed. Twice did the water heater in the apartment above me leak into my apartment. The first time, my boyfriend was the one who reported it and he had to tell the maintenance person what to do, and then they never came back to fix the water damage in my apartment. I have to follow up with the front office to get someone in. They use contractors that like to use short cuts inside of fixing issues legally. The PM, Toni, is quite rude and if will likely cut you off in conversations and then hang up on you. If I could give this zero stars I would. The only good thing about this place is Craig. He is absolutely delightful!

we visited Woods of Fairfax in Lorton Va last week. we liked the area and the size of the apartment. the price, however, was $240. more than one we looked at in Woodbridge. it is the same size so we went with that one. Otherwise, we would have gone with Woods.

I've stayed at apartments all over the country and the maintenance at Woods of Fairfax is by far the worst. Multiple repair request just recieve a polite smile along with a "we'll send someone right over" - but nothing happens. If you're considering renting at this complex, please ask to see the walls outside the downstairs apartments at 7651 Highland Woods Ct. They look like the walls in an abandoned slum building, They've looked like that for months. The people in those apartments tell me they have made over a dozen requests to get the walls repaired and repainted and have been smiled at and lied to each time. I don't know how they can live down there. Meanwhile the management has repaired and repainted the speed bumps at the entrance several times. They do a great job maintaining the areas up front but before you rent ask to see downstairs at 7651 and see if they can come up with a new lie
