Apartments advertised as luxury but aren't that luxury. Complex doesn't believe in drawers for cabinetry. Complex very subpar. However the layouts are nice and handing full-size appliances. Everyone who has been to my apartment loves the floating island. Amenities could be somewhat better. No stop signs in the complex either....
I WOULD HAVE LOVE TO STAY THERE I WISH APT COMPLEXES WITH WORK WITH PEOPLE THAT HAVE LOW CREDIT SCORES
I am a current resident of this complex. What strikes me as odd with this community is that it has the trappings of a premier community yet basic amenities and other things aren't attended to at all.
I've submitted multiple maintenance request regarding water pressure in my unit only to have the maintenance man say "that's just how it is". Bearing in mind that after the 2nd visit he found an issue with the bathroom sink that increased the water pressure there.
The second issue is the fact that residents are required to signup for a trash service. In my unit the dumpster is directly outside the front down, however for whatever reason the management forces compulsory use of this service "because we want to avoid bug infestations". Here's something for the management - Roaches come from a messy unit and not just trash.
Another item that has caught my attention is the amount of dog dropping that is all around the premises. The fact that there is so much is bothersome but it's not picked up by the grounds staff and residents continue to let their animals leave their waste all over. It is disgusting and unsettling. This seems to come more and more from the younger demographic staying at the complex.
Lastly is the handling of snow... I've been fortunate enough to have been in the area to witness 2 snowfalls in the 2017-2018 time frame. During both times ice and snow covered the roads and sidewalks around the unit, it was days into the last drop of snow until anything was done about the sidewalks. Since the roads were not addressed other residents left their stuck cars in the middle of the road for days to come. This presented an additional challenge in trying to navigate in and out of the complex which could have been avoided if someone salted the complex roads.
All in all this complex is absolutely abysmal, having to pay for add-ons like ceiling fans and light fixtures is ridiculous. I do not recommend staying here in fact run as far as away as possible.
The pool is not an amenity for the apartments. Theyll tell you it is, but it is owned by the townhomes nearby. Same company, but if you live in he apartments you dont have priority and they can take away access at any time. Also had the issue with noisy neighbors and not much happened. It seems to have gotten a little better probably because they keep changing staff. Theres also an issue with the coliseum and convention center nearby. They block that road often so if youre a resident be prepared to drive all the way around to the other end just to get home. Doesnt seem likely that this will change either. I wont be renewing my lease. Not nearly worth the price.
Nice location, some ok amenities. The apartment is ok, I was more impressed with the location and the fact that the apartment was new. Staff not very knowledgeable, no sense of urgency, and can be rude at times. Managers have changed since we've moved in twice. Will not be renewing our lease, going to buy a house instead!
