Everything looks great.... right? Wait until you move in, that's when everything starts to show. Maintenance is done at a minimal to make sure things are good for awhile. The corners of the walls are cracking, the walls themselves are very thin so you hear everything. I can hear people below me walking around. When people are outside talking, you will hear the entire conversation.... and they could be at the apartment building across the road. The staff seems great, until you need something. See, when you need something, they take their sweet time.... making sure to get to you a couple days to a week later. If they accuse you of not paying rent or something like that, they send threatening letters saying they will take legal actions instead of talking to you personally about it. This has happened several times because they, "overlooked" the receipt of the payment. Mind you, the letters are signed by the property manager so it's being overlooked by not only the bottom person, but the head person as well. Your electric bill will fluctuate because of "their" systems and previous tenants. I could go on and on about this but if you really want to find a place to live, I'd look elsewhere first.
I am active duty and I lived in better places before joining the military. I will start off with the apartment itself. The wall are very thin if you are just sitting in the living you can hear every single one of your neighbors. You can honestly hear every word of your neighbors conversation with our tv on. The floors sound like they was gonna collapse every single step you took. Very big roaches and water bugs were spotted during the day every season of the year. Water did not stay warm despite multiple calls to maintenance.
They messed up my monthly payments at least 4 times that I can remember over a 12 month lease. Weather it would be a money order or a online payment. I would then get a letter on the door saying I have a court date and a late few due. I had to speak to the office numerous times about issue I had. I had a package shipped to the apartment and they denied my shipping. It took me a month in a half to get a package I ordered for 1 day shipping. My car was broken into twice. Filed a police report, and did not notify the apartment complex of these issues after telling me they would.
Before moving out, me and my wife did everything we could to clean up the house before moving out, we took 3 days from our job to clean up the house from the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room, and even the patio, and they still charged us a extra $400. I gave them a extra $250 and my security deposit and still owe them $200.
Overall I am letting my higher ups know about this stressful year I had with them, and we are attempting on putting this apartment on the do not stay list. I dont recommend this place for military or anyone of that matter.
Everything is wonderful here! Try it! I recommend 100%
This place is a nice place to live. Staff is super friendly and nice & haven't had a noise issue. The only thing I don't like is the bug problem. Because of that it lost a star. Another issue is parking. A new system needs to be in place. One decal per household is dumb and not logical! I pay way too much money for rent to never have parking and have to fight for parking on the side of the road (because my roommate has the parking pass for the month). Visitors parking needs to be implemented or allow two decals per household because there is enough parking to do so.
