I would be leaving a good review of Legends, as my husband and I had a fairly enjoyable time living there, until we got our move-out bill. $800 in damages. I have lived in many apartments and have always gotten my security deposit back. $600 charge to replace the carpet in the entire apartment due to ONE pet stain in the corner of the dining room. $150 for holes in the walls from hanging pictures, curtains, etc. when our move-out instruction guide specifically said NOT to cover holes in the wall. When we called the central office to discuss the bill, we were told that we have to cover up holes larger than the size of a nail. We were following the move-out instructions and would have gladly fixed the issue had we been informed. We were also charged $35 for not cleaning the inside of the oven. Everything else was cleaned, I even bought new drip pans for the stove, but forgot to clean the inside of the oven in the chaos of moving. As advised, we set up a date and time to meet with an inspector to do the pre-inspection before the official one but the person never showed up. Then we asked the apartment office a week in advance if they could do the official inspection and walk through with us the day before we left, and they told us they would get back to us to confirm. They told us a couple of days before our moving day that they would not be able to walk through with us on the day we had asked. Like I mentioned previously, we did enjoy living here. The apartment complex is in a great location, the apartments themselves are clean and well-kept, and maintenance is wonderful. I just don't want anybody else to get surprised with a huge move-out bill like we did.
We have lived at The Legends Apartments for over two years and enjoy living here because of the wonderful Management and Maintenance team, the extremely convenient location, the thoughtfully designed floor plan, generous parking, beautiful swimming pool area, lovely landscaping, and maintenance-free living. We have moved 28 times, so we have experienced both good and bad apartment rental situations.
The Legends Management team is the best. They are friendly, kind, knowledgeable, efficient, and will take care of whatever is needed.
