    Tysons Glen might seem like a good deal in an expensive area but you get what you pay for. There are major plumbing issues throughout these apartments. The units were built as cheaply as possible, they are getting old, and the plumbing issues are only going to get worse. Our kitchen flooded from backflow out of our garbage disposal / washing machine. The ceilings on both floors would periodically leak and we would frequently lose hot water. All things considered, compared to our neighbors, we considered ourselves lucky. Our neighbors hot water heater exploded, flooding their apartment and forcing them to temporarily move into a hotel. Flooding from backflow is a common occurrence and frequently causes property damage. You should be particularly wary of apartments located below the townhouses. These units flood regularly and with particular gusto. Also the trees on the property have been left to rot and have become a hazard. Tysons Glen stay does not want to pay an prunning service to remove rotting branches and trees and they are putting their residents in danger. The front windows on both of our cars were smashed by falling branches. On multiple occasions entire trees come down and totaled parked cars. Finally there was a series of bizarre and capricious charges we were hit with when we didnt renew our lease. This included $288 for water despite the fact that we moved out three months early and obviously werent using any water. If you are considering an apartment here you should google yes energy management. Youll find nothing but complaints from tenants and former employees about the company conspiring with apartment complexes to charge unreasonable prices.

    We enjoy living here! Pros: 1. The people in the leasing office are really very kind and helpful. 2. The location is great as it nears Tysons Corner. It is very convenient to access to I495 and I66. 3. The environment here is beautiful, clean, and quiet. 4. Neighbors here are very nice. 5. The public management here is good. Cons: 1. Some of its interior designs are outdated. Its restroom and cupboard are a little bit small for us. 2. Some of its appliances may be old and thus power consuming. In conclusion, it is a great place to live.

    I have been living here for a year. Great place to live and love the management. Maintenance staff is extremely fast and helpful. Apartments are nice and so far I haven't had any issues. I rented this apartment after looking at online reviews, no regrets so far. This is a pretty good diverse community, I see lots of Indian families moved here in the last 6-9 months. Few perks like Computer room with free printing option, free water wash for cars, Air filling machine etc. make our living easy.

    The only reason we stay here is because they have a great pet policy since only a few apartments allow dogs over 50 lb+. The people working at the leasing office are rude, have ZERO empathy, ZERO customer service, and an arrogant attitude. They never recognize their mistakes. Every time we have a problem, it's a nightmare going to that office. They do not care about the tenants. Additionally: Since we moved in they told us that the gym will be "upgraded", a year and a half later that hasn't happened yet. The dog park receives ZERO maintenance, it's more deteriorated with every season. We can hear loud noises from the neighbor living above us, in the middle of the night or at 3 am. This past summer the pool wasn't cleaned properly, it was dirty all the season. Plus, we have experienced many power outages. NEVER use their website for automatic payment, for us it didn't work once, and they didn't let us know until we got a lawyer letter for eviction, they don't manage those issues properly. Positive side: beautiful people live here, it's a very friendly neighborhood with a strong dog community. The green areas are regularly taken care of by contractors, and cleaning service cleans the building every other day. The layout of the apartment is fair and the price of the rent is similar to others in the area. In summary, many people are living here because there is no other choice at the moment or they are thinking to move in the next opportunity they can. A recommendation would be to change the management of this place, they are ruining this complex. It could be a wonderful place to live.
