We at times neglect reviews and take chances. Please don't take any chance on this property, it's for your own good! This property is the most neglected equity residential property that I know. Management will make sure that they will drive you nuts each day. You will be arguing each day about something if you decide to live here. This is a very old building and almost all the time things break or leak. No one will look out for you, you are on your own trust me when I say this. Management is unreachable all the way to corporate. You think you will get your $300 deposit? Don't even think about it. The many mistakes that accounting department makes will shock you! If you decide to move here and set up an auto pay to pay for your rent, please make sure that you look under the statement page to review all the charges. I wish there is a way to give no star, because this place will not deserve any!! If you have to pay more & get better service somewhere else, I would advice you to do that!! What good is saving if no one is treating you as a human being. Respect is important on all levels and they will have none for you. I hope that you make the wisest decision as you search for a new place that you want to call home.
I posted a longer review elsewhere but to summarize - there are roaches, mice, predatory towing in the garage/visitor lots, trash everywhere, dark and smelly hallways, and rude staff at the front desk and in management. The area is kind of sketchy and is the run-down, low-budget version of your favorite franchises. The rooms are large, there is a pool and a decent gym, but there are far too many awful things about this place to make it worth living here.
~On the cheaper end of rent in the area.
~The view from higher floors is very nice.
~The studio apartments are spacious enough for the costs.
~Top floors have in unit laundry.
~Overall, a rather quiet community.
~There are pests (mice and roaches, even on the 26th floor)
~In regards to problems, management is difficult to get in touch with and ill-willing to attempt to resolve issues.
~Parking is limited enough and they have been undergoing construction with further restrictions to parking. When paying $50/month for parking it is sometimes not possible to find a parking spot.
~Crime! There are often police reports. It is nice that management is transparent however, it is evident there is an issue with the average individual living in the complex with such a high crime rate.
~In accurate charges, I have been inaccurately charged fees and parking charges (that I am assuming another resident has requested i.e. guest parking) upon trying to resolve the issue I have contacted several individuals involved with the property and have not received a response.
~The parking garage and attaching hall to the apartments is ALWAYS wet, moldy and smells. It is common for puddles of water to be on the floor in the halls.
~Fire alarm: The fire alarm is always "accidentally" set off. The fire department is very quick to respond which is comforting to know, however this common displeasure is frustrating as it seems as if a weekly occurrence to be temporarily inconvenienced with the alarm.
I would highly advise you to seek living elsewhere.
Water smells bad, hallway carpets look dirty, trash left out when there are trash shoots, 5 dollars for every guest that visits added to your rent, not a friendly community, rent price fluxes. Bare minimum maintenance. Smells of what ever is cooking or smoking at yout neighbors.
