The Courts at Fair Oaks

The apartments are run down and practically unlivable. Drywall rotting in the water closet. They have no problem evicting you for a flood that was their problem and decide to bring lawyers against you. Sure when you walk in it looks nice, but paint can sure cover up damages and mold underneath. They have a rodent problem. Take it from a tenant thats lived here for 3 years, its not worth the price or your headache they will cause you. Numerous tenants and I have talked and there is no urgency to fix problems you may encounter and maintenance, well thats a quick repair which is not properly done. Appliance down, oh well! They think living in the 1960s is still a thing with bathroom fans, thermostats and dont get me started about their quick fixes on everything. Do not recommend. However, I can tell you Camden Fair Lakes down the street about a mile away is wonderful! I lived there for 7 years, highly recommend! This complex is just terrible. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Maintenance crew better stop marking online service maintenance requests with "work completed" status even though no work has been done to fix the issue. Due to this terrible practice, multiple service request forms have to be created and submitted before the issue eventually get fixed! Similarly, management team should respond to any other form of inquiries more promptly, it usually takes multiple repeated requests until they come back with some answer!

As a single woman, Im very happy living here regarding my personal safety, even in a first floor apartment. The doors & windows are secure (not sliding) and I like the added security of living in a gated community. My son highly approves as well! The neighborhood is calm and friendly. The easy access to the Vienna Metro via bus or car is great and any shopping needs are literally just around the corner. I also like the community amenities, landscaping and having a garage option.

All the staff are helpful and attentive. They do excellent job.

Overall, the Courts at Fair Oaks is a good option for the Fairfax area. It is close to a lot of shopping and about 15 minutes from the metro. The kitchen layout is not the best but the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The location of the dumpster is inconvenient but not a deal breaker when living here. The community is kept clean. Neighbors can never be heard so there is always peace and quiet within your apartment. Although when the windows are open, you can hear cars from 66 zooming by. The leasing office is super friendly and helpful. They sometimes take a second to respond but always try their best to get issues resolved. Parking can be an issue during late hours but during the day, there is enough parking for everyone.

There are a number of developments in our area but The Courts at Fair Oaks really delivers. It is a well taken care of development and is gated and the apartments are very nice, upgraded and have nice layouts. All of the staff are helpful and make living there more comfortable. I have already recommended to friends. If you are looking in this area it is worth stopping by.
