So much shopping available in the area, some within walking distance, and pretty much everything you could want within about seven miles. Lots of activities, the great fitness center - I'm so glad I can call Shenandoah Crossing my home!

I moved in in 1989 because it was the most affordable apartment I could find and never considered another place. Everything is within walking distance, including schools. Metro picks up in front and covered parking is available. I hope to stay for years to come.
I moved here in 1989 and never wanted to move again. Everything is near including shopping, food, and even schools are in walking distance. All appliances have been replaced at least once and the grounds are immaculate. Why leave?
Community layout & building architecture foster both privacy and neighborliness, green space and parking convenience. We have a great mix of residents by age, family status, and ethnicity. It's a 10-20 minute walk to a large shopping center (grocery, 24-hr drug store, gas station, restaurants, clothing stores). My apt has best floor plan I've seen anywhere. Love it. Just wish it were closer to my son.
