This is a very nice quiet comfortable place to live. The rooms are bigger then normal. You can even get the apartment furnished. And yes the customer service is great. The staff will help you as much as they can . This is just fabulous
If I could give this place less than 0 stars I would . This is by far the worst rental complex I have ever had the displeasure of living in. Before moving in, I read the bad reviews but figured Id give It a chance since I was in a hurry to move and everything checked out initially. They have an outrageous $350 application fee. They said that they would refund or waive the fee, but It was just to ensure that I would in. unfortunately I did not get It in writing. Once I moved in I tried to fight for my money back, but it was never returned. I had to pay $400 deposit and a $100 utility fee. So that alone is an $850 move in fee. They put me on the first floor, I would learn to quickly regret It. Bugs were constantly crawling into my apartment. This included roaches, spiders, ants, caterpillars, etc . I was not dirty, but I would constantly have bugs attracted to my apartment. When I tried to have this addressed, maintenance never came. fast forward to the move out. They require a 60 day notice to move out in which I gave to them. I had the place professionally cleaned, vacuumed, and emptied like they asked. I requested a move our inspection a week prior to vacating the premises. no one would be available that week to do my move out. I took pictures of the apartment, left my keys and forwarding address . I made sure to pay all the debt owed at the time of move out. They charged me $700 more in addition to not giving me back my security deposit, marking a total of $1200. includes a disputed late fee. They charged me for paint, sealants, and extermination when they never exterminated my apartment. When I called to resolve this, I spoke with Carlette, a manager. Never have I ever dealt with such un- professionalism, rudeness, and downright foolishness. She spoke to me with an attitude the whole time and told me that they have already sent me to collections. PLEASE dont waste your time! If you are looking for luxury in Chesapeake this is not It.
All pictures and amenities mentioned are being misrepresented. Office staff arent INTEGRAL ! You will be screwed pay very close attention to everything. Property management works out of CA so resolving any issues, will run into problems.
I currently live here and will not be renewing my lease. I strongly suggest if you are considering the hideaway to reconsider. As nice as the apartments are the way its ran is not worth the headache. Moving in there will be multiple issues and they will promise you to fix them but wont. If you want access to the amenities you pay a fee for monthly and work a 9-5 they close everything except the gym at 6. The stair ways are filthy and they never clean them and they have a power washer. Water is divided by the entire complex so even if you dont use much you will pay for what others use about $100 a month. Theres never parking so they solved that by adding reserved parking for $40 a month. Luxury it is not its more like living in the jungle! O and if you hate bugs its and water bug infested and most building have water damage they just cover up and never really fix! There are a lot of extra fees Im your lease.
