Month of August try to go to pool that is included in "luxury" amentities, water is GREEN. Sign simply says "closed until further notice" Par for the course.
Drove through the complex to find the trash literally piled up from the dumpster to the driveway. Appalling. With pictures available of this disgusting issue.
Hit with bogus cleaning bill after moving out !!
They hit us with a cleaning bill upon moving out for $970. We were there for only 7 months. They said they had to replace the carpet and blinds in both bedrooms and replace the thermostat due to "nicotine" damage. 1) There was little time that was actually spent in the apartment (due to work and travel). 2) Only one light smoker was ever present. 3) The bedroom doors were closed and most smoking was done on the patio. 4) We never used the second bedroom (except for storage! ). 5) A move-in sheet was turned in outlining stains, etc within one week after we took possession - nothing was done about it. 6) How does thermostat incur nicotine damage?...How can one tell? It was working fine the whole time we were there. After we moved everything out, we had the apartment professionally cleaned and have the receipt to prove it. We also requested a "walk through" with management before we turned in the keys but they declined. We thought they had billed the wrong apt. When talking with the manager, she was disrespectful and insisted that she had not made a mistake on the billing. Additionally, if the amount was not paid in 30 days, it would go to a collection agency. If they do send this bill to collection, we will have to get a lawyer. This may not be cheaper than paying the bill; however, we will not pay a bill that is clearly not rightfully due.
