A year ago I would have given 4 stars, but since they have raised their prices so much, I cannot justify that any longer.
The apartments themselves are ok, but for what they are, they should not be almost $1000 a month for a single bedroom den!!! The price of laundry went up from $1.25 per wash to $2.00. That means that each load of laundry will now cost $4.00 to wash and dry. That is just ridiculous.
For these prices, you could find a much nicer place with many more amenities. They want to compete with other housing complexes in the area such as The Village and The Edge. Simply raising their price is not the way to do it unless they want to completely renovate every single apartment and bring them into the modern age.
Word to the wise - stay away from renting anything from HHHunt, they prey on and gouge college students. (Take pictures before you move in and when you move out, have the Property Manager sign off)
My daughter, attended the Master's Program at Virginia Tech, rented a one bedroom apartment at 2600 Foxhunt Lane from 7/2017 until 7/2019. During this time her apartment flooded (3) times. Now HHHunt wants her to pay the "pro-rated" costs for replacing the carpet, $271.15. The carpet was originally installed in 2012. The carpet is 7 years old with a life expectancy of 10 years (according to HHHunt). After numerous phone calls to HHHunt, looks like we have to pay for the carpet replacement.
HHHunt was willing to rent this apartment to the next person, knowing full well the apartment had flooded three times, without replacing the carpet. BUT, they decided the carpet had to be replaced because, they couldn't remove a coffee stain in the living room.
They are more worried about a coffee stain than mold? Come on! They are covering their backsides and are using my daughter to help pay for the new carpet.
Management is more than willing to share photos, they have taken of the apartment after you move out, to prove the charges. Such as $5.00 per light bulb, $10.00 to wipe the dust off blinds, etc.
Heed my advice stay away from any property associated with HHHunt.
Looking at this time
I got a nice two bedroom with one and a half baths, and a nice balcony with a view off the living room. The grounds are beautiful. The rental person was friendly and competent.
I dont live here but i wanna
