I have been living here for about 4 months and was surprised at how spacious the units are. The staff is super friendly, especially Zach. I'm so happy we decided to move here!
I have to say that when I first went in to rent the apartment Derek was wonderful. He was polite and engaging and made me really excited to live there. A year later, the shine has worn off.
There has been constant construction for several months. It would be fine if it started at 9, but it begins at 6-7 and is so loud! The beeping of the trucks, the noise of the machinery; it's terrible.
The walls are paper thin. I can hear my neighbor when he is talking on the phone at a regular level. I can people in the hallway so loudly, on several occasions I thought someone was in my house. I can hear people talking from the restaurants below, and don't get me started on the traffic noise from the toll road. During the summer they have events and while it's great, if I don't attend, I still have to hear the noise of the musicians and the movies. It's ridiculous! For being in such a high traffic area, you would think they would invest in some quality soundproofing.
Maintenance is a joke. I put in a work order for something that was broken before I moved in. I waited 9 months and never had anyone come to fix it. I've given up on it. The elevator breaks frequently, at least every other month, and was actually completely broken for 3 months. Also, roaches! I get they can't control the cleanliness of tenants, but do something!
They advertised having concierge type service, but this is not it. They used to have tv's in the mail area to let you know if you had deliveries but that hasn't worked for at least 5 months. Since that isn't used anymore, you would think they would at least email you, but nope.
While the apartment itself looks nice, the layout doesn't make sense. I have two drawers that always hit the fridge, and the fridge has a terrible layout. I have to lay soda and juice down because they dont fit upright.
The resident portal doesn't work, so good luck trying to pay your rent online. There are better places for better prices elsewhere.
Please save your money and stay in a real luxury hotel. This apartment has fruit fly issues. I have stayed at this apartment for 2 years and have complained about fruit flies the entire time. The fruit flies are here because retail uses the same trash bin as the residential. And, the trash bins are housed in the apartment. The maintenance is horrible. Once the cold season started, it stopped the fruit flies but now there are roaches. I called to report this issue, and no one addresses the issue. When I talked to the maintenance manager (William) he was so rude and wouldn't allow you to talk on the phone. He talks over you and then he hung up the phone on me. The Leasing office staff is horrible. They have had three property managers changes in one year. NFL players were staying here but they moved out because they said they don't like management. The elevators are broken often and has not been inspected in three months. They said they have security but its just a key fob in which people allow other people to walk in the lobby. I had to call the police because there was a man sleeping in the lobby with no pants on. The walls are paper thin and I can hear my neighbor above me running on this treadmill every day. And, I can hear my neighbors beside me conversations. There are a lot of maintenance issues and it takes the maintenance team up to three weeks to respond. Leasing is supposed to be concierge (as they advertise) and they half way answer the phones. I bought a parking spot for additional 50 dollars a month on my rent. I was told that we needed to have permit on and that a towing company is monitoring every night. Found out last week that I don't need a permit and if someone parks in my space then I will have to call the towing company. There is no towing company that is monitoring the platinum parking space. You dont know when your packages arrive. I had flowers delivered to leasing office. Didn't receive it until 2 weeks later and they were dead. BEWARE!
The building itself is the biggest problem. And their management is a chaos. My living room have leaking problem. And the maintenance for repair the leak is not responding for 2 month. After my continually request and complain, they started to work on it. However, the worker opened my roof and forgot about the leak and let me have a open roof for more than a month. Finally, the leak is fixed after 100 days. Why rent an apartment that do not have the functionality of an apartment for quarter of a year?
